Sisters, Kara and Cedar Sorensen invite you to experience their sixth Yoga and Wellness retreat in Bali, at the Bagus Jati Resort & Spa. After having spent time traveling to Bali over the past ten years, facilitators Cedar and Kara have developed a unique program that features some of the best of what Bali has to offer. "Take a retreat with Cedar and Kara and experience Paradise!" This seven-day retreat is designed for adults looking for a temporary break from routine. We give so much of ourselves in our daily lives that it can be difficult to take time just for ourselves. This retreat combines the gifts of yoga, wellness, healing and travel, infused with the rich culture of Bali. This opportunity creates the prime conditions for you to revitalize, renew, restore and re-connect, all while in a tropical paradise. For your accommodation, you may choose between a stand-alone villa or two-story chalet. Rooms are immaculate, spacious, and private with balcony views. Rooms can be enjoyed single or shared, with two single beds per room. Groups of three or four can enjoy a pool villa or deluxe villa. What makes this retreat unique is the strong focus and immersion into the Balinese culture through blessings, ceremonies, excursions, temple visits, elixirs and offerings. Our goal is to create a space where you feel a greater sense of connection both to yourself, and to a warm, healing community. In addition, this year’s retreat takes place during Nyepi—the annual Day of Silence. Find healing and reconnect with nature when you start each morning with a yoga and meditation class that takes place in an open-air studio. After class, we nourish our bodies with an organic breakfast and eat amongst the scenery of Mount Agung and surrounding mountains. After breakfast, we move in meditation to the flow of AiChi (water Qigong) that takes place in the infinity pool. The afternoons are designed for you to explore or relax at your leisure. This time can be used to participate in Balinese ceremonies, visit water temples, create offerings or elixirs, meditate, or simply relax by the pool. We encourage you to hone in on this opportunity to take time for yourself.
